Vehicle Service Group dedicated its new Employee Tribute and Wellness Park recently with an event that included a picnic, plant and office tours, visits from three past presidents and recognition of employees who have given 20 or more years of service to the company.

"It's no secret that VSG's strength is and has always been our people," said Gary Kennon, past president of Vehicle Service Group. "It's easy to take for granted the sacrifices that our employees make each day to ensure our company is the best in our industry. This park is one way that we can say thank you to our past, current and future employees."

VSG's new park was designed to be a multi-use activity center for employees and their families. Its quarter-mile walking track, basketball court and cross-training fitness center help promote the company's focus on healthy lifestyles.

A large sandstone water feature in the park's center provides an area where the company's history and plaques honoring past employees can be displayed. "There are over 150 employees who have given 20 years of their careers or more to our company and probably that same amount of current employees on track as well," said Matt Webster, vice president and general manager. "It's important that we pay tribute to their dedication and accomplishments in a way we can all be proud of for years to come.
