The Indiana Repertory Theatre will continue the 2013-2014 season Jan. 17. The theater in downtown Indianapolis currently has five shows planned through the middle of May.
The year will begin with "And Then They Came for Me: Remembering the World of Anne Frank" by James Still.
The 90-minute production about the Holocaust will be on the IRT's Upperstage and will run through Feb. 15.
Works by Indiana author Kurt Vonnegut will also take the stage in the new year.
"Kurt Vonnegut's Who am I this Time? (& Other Conundrums of Love)" by Aaron Posner will begin Jan 28 and run through Feb. 23.
The play features some of Vonnegut's most famous characters wandering through three stories searching for love and identity. Characters have been taken from Vonnegut's first short story collection, "Welcome to the Monkey House."
It will be featured on the theater's OneAmerica Stage.
"Other Desert Cities," by Jon Robin Baitz, will open March 12 and run through April 5.
The two-hour-long play, on IRT's OneAmerica Stage, centers on a once promising novelist trying to publish a memoir focusing on a devastating moment in her family's history.
Katori Hall's "The Mountaintop" opens April 2 and continues until April 27 on the IRT's Upperstage.
The performance focuses on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. after he delivers his famous, "I've been to the Mountaintop" speech.
The final play listed on the IRT's schedule so far is Ken Ludwig's "The Game's Afoot." It is a murder mystery set in a 1930s Christmas Eve party.
Performances begin April 23 and end May 18. The two hour play is on the OneAmerica Stage.
