Dennis Holt Memorial Radio-Controlled Boat Races

10 a.m., Krueger Lake

Admission: Free

The Prop Walkers Model Boat Club races radio-controlled, gas-powered, working scale model hydroplanes to compete in their own series and stage their own version of the Indiana Governor's Cup - the Dennis Holt Memorial Race - on Krueger Lake.



Madison Regatta Parade

7 p.m., Main Street

Decorative floats, hydroplanes, marching bands and other entries will parade down Main Street in a culmination of the city's support and celebration of the annual Regatta Festival.



Music on the River

5 p.m.-Midnight, Fireman's Park Stage 

Crossfire, 5-7 p.m.

Waiting, 7-9 p.m.

Saturday, July 5

Madison Courier 10K Run/Walk

8 a.m., from MCHS to Lytle Park

Now in its 37th year, The Madison Courier 10K Run and Walk follows a scenic 6.2-mile road course that takes participants from Madison's hilltop to downtown. Entry forms will be available at the starting area at Madison Consolidated High School's Salm Gymnasium on race day from 6:30 a.m. until time of race. Entry fee is $25 for the run and $15 for the walk.



Madison Regatta Volleyball Classic

8:30 a.m., at Vernon Street and Vaughn Drive

Admission: Free

Teams will compete on the sand volleyball courts for the right to be named Regatta Volleyball champions. Contact Dr. Bob Canida at (812) 265-2083 to register a team.



 Music on the River

4 p.m.-Midnight

Fireman's Park Stage

Live music before and after the fireworks. Admission is free and open to the public and the event is rain or shine.
