Absentee voting for the Kentucky primary election continues until office closings on Monday at area county clerks' office.

Carroll County residents who may be out of town or unable to vote in Tuesday's primary election may vote by absentee ballot at the Carroll County Clerk's Office in the Courthouse until 4:30 p.m., county clerk Alice Marsh said.

Trimble County residents who will be out of town during the primary election on Tuesday may vote by absentee ballot at the Trimble County Clerk's Office at the Courthouse until 4:30 p.m., county clerk Tina Browning said.

Voters will need to bring a photo ID or a document with a signature on it.

Polling locations in both counties will open at 6 a.m. Tuesday for residents to cast their vote in the primary election. Polls will close at 6 p.m.
