Hanover College students and faculty march in the annual Marade on the campus as part of the college's Martin Luther King Jr. week of events. The marade, a combination march and parade, moved to different places on the campus where students shared stories about people and events in civil rights history. Today's Poetry Slam in the Haq Center has been postponed. The college also will host a "Race in Your Face" discussion on the theme of "Whispering Behind Closed Doors" on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Withrow Center; a presentation about peace, social and economic justice by Sister Simone Campbell on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Lynn Center for Fine Arts Recital Hall; and a screening of the movie "The Butler" on Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Classic Hall, Room 102.
