Jefferson County sheriff's deputies arrested an Otisco man in connection with a November 2013 residential burglary in Hanover.
Aaron J. Wallen, 41, was arrested Friday after a lengthy investigation and faces preliminary charges of residential burglary, a Class B felony, and theft, a Class D felony.
The burglary was reported by a neighbor on Nov. 7 after a suspicious vehicle and multiple suspects were spotted at a residence in the 5700 block of Jackson Road. When deputies arrived, the vehicle was gone and several items were sitting on the back deck of the home, according to a news release.
The homeowners reported missing firearms and electronics, said Sheriff John Wallace.
Through a follow-up investigation by Sgt. Jeff Neace and assistance from the Clark County Sheriff's Department, an arrest warrant was later issued for Wallen.
Neace was able to recover some of the stolen property, the release said.
The investigation is considered ongoing as the sheriff's department continues to look for other suspects.
