MUSIC on the RIVER

Chef Patrick Mould, direct from the bayous of Louisiana, and Steve Thomas of Thomas Family Winery, will give a cooking demonstration at 4:30 p.m. today at the RiverRoots festival. They will be cooking chicken andouille gumbo and a Cajun jambalaya.
Mould is a chef, educator, TV personality, cookbook author and culinary innovator. He owns and operates Louisiana Culinary Enterprises a consulting and catering company in Lafayette, La.
Singer and songwriter Andrea Davidson opened the RiverRoots Music & Folk Arts Festival on Friday at Bicentennial Park. The festival continues today at 1 p.m.
Today's musical line-up includes: The Vespers at 1 p.m.; Ma Crow and the Lady Slippers at 2:15 p.m.; Rani Arbo & Daisy Mayhem at 3 p.m.; Danny Schmidt and Carrie Elkin at 4:15 p.m.; John McCutcheon at 5 p.m.; Danny Flanigan at 6:15 p.m.; Ben Sollee at 7 p.m.; Stacey Earle and Mark Stuart at 8:15 p.m. and the Carolina Chocolate Drops at 9 p.m. (Staff photo by Ken Ritchiefirstname.lastname@example.org)
