Two Jefferson County residents were arrested Saturday after items linked to a July robbery were found in their car during a traffic stop.
Dustin Michael Nelson, 21, of Hanover, and Annabelle Grace Hammons, 18, of Madison, were both arrested on preliminary charges of burglary and theft.
The two are suspects in a burglary in the 1500 block of County Road 300-N on July 31, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.
Tools, fishing equipment and other items were taken in the burglary.
Nelson and Hammons were spotted traveling on East Main Street by Sgt. Troy Hawkins. After stopping the car, the two suspects were arrested and their car was searched. Items from the July burglary were found.
Hammons and Nelson were taken to the Jefferson County Jail and are awaiting their initial court appearances on the charges.
