Makenzie Deputy, top, a Jefferson County 4-H Junior Leader, a member of the Madison Consolidated High School FFA and an intern at the Jefferson County Purdue Extension Office, is helping those organizations' efforts to help stock the shelves of the House of Hope food pantry in the Jefferson County Clearinghouse. They will have a donation point for non-perishable foods on the first floor of the Jefferson County Courthouse through the month of November. Bruce Courtois, bottom, guides tractor operator Jason Henson as Henson lowers a portion of a new storm drain into place along the side of the Clearinghouse on West Street on Monday.
