Jefferson County road crews will close a portion of County Road 1250-W for a bridge replacement project on or after March 1. The one-lane bridge over Lewis Creek is located about 1.5 miles from State Road 256 and 2.4 miles from Deputy Pike. Signs will be posted in the areas during the road closures.

County crews also will close Ramsey Creek Road beginning next week for drainage work. Crews will close the road starting at 7 a.m. Tuesday. The road will remain closed through 3 p.m. on Feb. 24 to allow for drainage pipe installation and other drainage work. The work will take place between the addresses of 7760 Ramsey Creek Road and 8750 Ramsey Creek Road, a release said. The roadway runs between Wall Street in Kent and Thompson Road.
