For the third consecutive year, local organizations in Madison will host events to keep kids busy and engaged while they are on spring break next week.

The events are geared toward elementary school kids and all take place in Jefferson County.

A history scavenger hunt will be available downtown. Booklets for the hunt are available at the Visitor's Center. The scavenger hunt is free.

The Brown Gym will have open gym from 1 to 3 p.m. on Monday through Thursday. The Lanier Mansion will have tours Monday through Friday. One adult can get free admission with a paid child admission.
