Rehearsals to begin Sunday for 'Messiah'

The Madison-Ohio Valley Community Chorus and the Hanover College Concert Choir will begin rehearsals at 2 p.m. Sunday for their annual performance of selections from George Frideric Handel's "Messiah."
Rehearsals will be in the Fitzgibbon Recital Hall at the Hanover College Lynn Center for Fine Arts.
The chorus is open to anyone who wants to sing, can attend rehearsals, and can learn to perform the music. There are no auditions for the chorus.
Rehearsals will be from 2 to 4 p.m. each Sunday at the Fitzgibbon Recital Hall until the performance on Sunday, Nov. 24.
The chorus is under the direction of Dr. Madlen Batchvarova, associate professor and director of choral programs at Hanover College.
