Barbara Ann Birge Griffin, 60, of Madison, died Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville.
She was born Nov. 18, 1953, in Madison, to Robert and Grace Williams Birge. She resided most of her life in Madison. She was the owner and operator of Griffin Cleaning Service for many years. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, television programs and listening to music.
She is survived by one son, Robert Edward Corey of Madison; two sisters, Levada Vanvanter of Florida and Juanita Torres of Madison; one brother, Billy Birge of Dupont; one granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her father; her mother, Grace Williams Cosby; her companion of 20 years, Gorman L. Carlisle, who died April 22, 2013; her step mom, Flossie Birge; and one grandson.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 9 a.m. until the service.

James P. Hanlon, 87, of Carrollton, Ky., died Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Green Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carrollton, Ky.
He was born Nov. 3, 1926, in Vevay, to Parker B. and Margaret Darbro Hanlon. He served in the Army in the 82nd Airborne Signal Company during World War II. He retired as a buyer for the American Tobacco Company, where he worked for more than 46 years. He was a member of the Milton Baptist Church and Carrollton Post 41 of the American Legion. He was a 50-year member of the Milton Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by one daughter, Mary Hanlon of Milton, Ky.; one son, Larry Hanlon of Richmond, Va.; two half sisters, Sue McAlister of Carrollton, Ky. and Latina Butters of Milton, Ky.; one half brother, Tommy Hanlon of Radcliff, Ky.; his companion, Barbara Gosman of Milton, Ky.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Imogene Anderson Hanlon; and his parents.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Milton Baptist Church. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton, Ky.
Friends may call at the church Saturday from 11 a.m. until the service. A Masonic service will be conducted at the church at noon Saturday.

Martha Jane Huelsman, 70, of North Vernon, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.
She was born May 9, 1943, in Jefferson County, to Allen and Georgine Hearne Fitch. She was a 1961 graduate of Paris Crossing High School. She worked as a server for the North Vernon Moose Lodge for two years. She previously worked at the North Vernon Pizza King for 14 years and was a bartender at weddings. She was a member of Moose Lodge and North Vernon Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed NASCAR, University of Kentucky basketball, spending time visiting with friends and time with her family.
She is survived by her four daughters, Trish Rowlett of North Vernon, Tosca Neal of Butlerville, Porta Shouse of Mooresville and Marda Neitzel of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Norma Jean Fitch.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Burial will be in the Smyrna-Monroe Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
