Stanley B. Breeden, 74, of Worthville, Ky., died Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014, at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Ky.
He was born May 26, 1939, in Carrollton, Ky., to Bert and Nellie Breeden Breeden. He retired from the former M & T Chemical Co. in Carrollton, Ky. He also worked as an automotive mechanic with Breeden's Auto Repair. He was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Carrollton, Ky.
He is survived by one stepson, Chester Chapman of Worthville, Ky.; one stepdaughter, Wanda Chriss of Worthville, Ky.; eight stepgrandchildren; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Breeden; his parents; and one brother, Leslie Breeden.
A private graveside service and burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Glencoe, Ky.
Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in Carrollton, Ky., was in charge of arrangements.
Elmer J. Burwinkel, 93, of Indianapolis, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2014.
He was born Aug. 28, 1920, in Dry Ridge, Ohio, to Henry and Ottillia Wilhelm Burwinkel. He taught school in Cincinnati, Ohio, for 30 years, retiring in 1977. He was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis on June 23, 1984, and served in many parishes until his retirement in 2006. He had been residing at St. Paul Hermitage.
He is survived by seven children, Bob Burwinkel, Bill Burwinkel, Mary Jo Kimble, Larry Burwinkel, Mark Burwinkel, Jim Burwinkel and Judy Strzelecki; seven grandchildren; and great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Benkert Burwinkel, who died in 1980; his parents; and four brothers, Anthony Burwinkel, Eugene Burwinkel, Walter Burwinkel and Henry Burwinkel.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday in in St. Paul Hermitage, 501 N. 17th Ave., Beech Grove.
Friends may call at the same location Monday from 9 a.m. until the service.
A graveside service and burial will be at 4 p.m. Monday at St. Patrick Cemetery in Madison.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to St. Paul Hermitage.
Daniel F. O'Riley Funeral Home in Indianapolis is in charge of arrangements.

John Sidney O'Neill, 63, of Madison, died Monday, Feb. 17, 2014, at Norton Hosparus Inpatient Unit in Louisville, Ky.
He was born Nov. 27, 1950, in Rapid City, S.D., to John and Mary Englebert O'Neill. He was a 1968 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. He earned a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Indiana State University. He was united in marriage to Carmen Borrego. He worked in sales, traveling various routes with several companies. He was raised Catholic and was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, now Prince of Peace Parish. He enjoyed tinkering on cars, computers and electronics.
He is survived by one son, Bryan O'Neill of Indianapolis; three brothers, James O'Neill of Madison, Tom O'Neill of Casper, Wyo., and Tim O'Neill of Greenfield; two sisters, Karen O'Neill of Madison and Susan Lemon of Oakland City; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Daniel O'Neill.
The funeral will be at 6 p.m. Friday at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre. Interment will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 5 p.m. until the service.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society. Contributions can be made through the funeral home.
