Ruth Anne Lock Chadwell, 87, of Madison, died Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Hanover Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral arrangements and additional information are pending at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre.
Warren Paul Laufer, 67, of Commiskey, died Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, Lexington, Ky.
He was born May 2, 1947, in Patterson, N.J., to Joseph Paul and Charlotte Joan Fehrer Laufer. He served in the Navy for four years. He and his wife started the Dupont Little League in the 1980s. He enjoyed the 49ers, reusing old treasures and the his farm.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Carolyn Louise Rowell Laufer; three sons, Warren Scott Laufer, Jamie Laufer and Jeremy Laufer, all of Deputy; four sisters, Barbara Wade of Novato, Calif., Cindy Dorsey of Richmond, Va., Janie Hyder of Johnson City, Tenn., and Nancy Hartsoe of Chester, Va.; one brother, Chuck Laufer of Dunnsville, Va.; six grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre. Burial will be in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted graveside by Jefferson Post 9 of the American Legion.
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday from 11 a.m. until the service. A final salute will be conducted by Jefferson Post 9 of the American Legion at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Kentucky Organ Donation Association. Contributions can be made through the funeral home.

Gary Webb, 61, of Dupont, died Monday, June 9, 2014, at his residence.
He was born May 23, 1953, in Sunman, to Howard and Helen Whitehead Webb. After graduating high school, he served in the Marine Corps.
He is survived by one son, Adam Webb of North Vernon; one daughter, Brittany Webb of Kansas; two brothers, Mike Webb of Seymour and Butch Stille of Greensburg; and companion, Mary Swigeart of Dupont.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Ruth Schroeder, Juanita Moore and Sonya Fullmer; and one brother, John Stille.
No funeral services are planned.

Robert R. Willhite, 71, of Bedford, Ky., died Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, Ky.
