George Fisher

George F. Fisher, 88, of Madison, died Sunday, June 1, 2014, at his residence.

He was born Aug. 7, 1925, in Brooksburg, to Leonard and Dora Steele Fisher. He operated Dealer's Auto Clean-up in Madison for several years. He enjoyed going to Belterra, fishing and watching westerns.

He is survived by three daughters, Wanda Lewis and Delores Hensley, both of Madison, and Marcella Crawford of Sardis, Miss.; three sons, George Fisher Jr. of Madison, and Edward Pettit and Eugene Rowlett, both of Indianapolis; one brother, Leonard Fisher of Carrollton, Ky.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorena Fisher; his parents; one brother, William Fisher; one infant sister; and one granddaughter.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Grayson Funeral Home in Hanover. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.

Bill D. Hans, 80, of Madison, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at King's Daughters' Hospital.

John Love Jr.

John William Love Jr., 79 , of New Whiteland, formerly of Madison, died Sunday, June 1, 2014.

He was born June 8, 1934, in New Philadelphia, Ohio, to John William Sr. and Dortha Pugh Love. He graduated from Butler University in 1956 with a bachelor's degree. He graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 1960, finishing with psychiatry in December 1967. He was a long-time resident of Madison.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia; three children, Jane Love, Kathy Spann and John Philip; one sister, Cinda Harner; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at G. H. Herrmann Funeral Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 South State Road 135, Greenwood.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until the service.

Margaret Taylor

Margaret Ruth "Ruthie" Taylor, 66, of Lexington, died Sunday, June 1, 2014, at King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison.

She was born Oct. 17, 1947, in Vevay, to James and Edith Montanye Sides. She was a 1967 graduate of Switzerland County High School. She was a former resident of Marysville, Ohio. She enjoyed fishing, cooking and yard work.

She is survived by her husband, Mellwood Taylor, whom she married Dec. 9, 1967; one daughter, Tona Porter of Deputy; four sisters, Mary Sides, Fay Snyder and Sue Turner, all of Vevay, and Tootie Ford of Lebanon, Ohio; one brother, John Sides of Versailles; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Mell Lee Taylor, who died May 19, 2005; her parents; two sisters, Sarah Polk and Lou Arnold; and two brothers, Donny Sides and Freddy Sides.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Lytle Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery.

Bonnie Woodson

Bonnie Jean Woodson, 69, of Jeffersonville, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville.

She was born May 21, 1944, to Willie and Mary Sue Meadows. She enjoyed cooking and was the owner and operator of Bonnie's Kitchen in Hanover. She also enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, James "Jim" Woodson III; two children, James Esarey of Warrensburg, Mo. and Tina Mitchem of Jefferson City, Tenn.; two step daughters, Carmen Woodson-Mather of Seattle, Wash. and Allison Woodson of Louisville, Ky.; one sister, Carol Pfalzgraf; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Melissa Esarey; her parents; and one great-granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hanover Fire House.
