Gerri Lou Tapp Gregory, 54, of Florence, died Monday, March 3, 2014, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
She was born June 2, 1959, in Milan, to Wallace and Thelma E. Harmon Tapp. She was raised in Switzerland County, and was a 1977 graduate of Switzerland County High School. She was employed at the First National Bank in Vevay for several years, as a process technician at the Plastic Molding Company in East Enterprise for 20 years, and as a customer service representative for the S & O Farmers Mutual Insurance Company in Rising Sun for five years. She resided all of her life in Switzerland County. She enjoyed helping her husband on their family farm. She enjoyed sewing, working puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Wayne Gregory, whom she married Aug. 19, 1977; two daughters, Lesa McGarvey of Vevay and Erin Deck of Florence; one brother, Michael Tapp of Lawrenceburg; three grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Elva Jean Tapp Lock, who died June 21, 2008.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay. Burial will be in Vevay Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the National Kidney Foundation. Contributions can be made through the funeral home.

Dorothy Francis McCord LaVelle, 90, of Patriot, died Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg.
Funeral arrangements and additional information are pending at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay.
Joyce Alene Spangler, 74, of Goshen, died Monday, March 3, 2014, at Indiana University Health Goshen Hospital.
She was born Sept. 7, 1939, in Edinburgh, to Gail and Hestella F. Ullom Meranda. She graduated from DeSoto High School in 1958. She worked as an office manager for The Care Group LLC in Indianapolis and the office of Dr. Larry G. Cok in Yorktown before retiring in 1992. She moved to Goshen seven years ago from Madison.
She is survived by two daughters, Laurel Anne Isle and Marta Bardonner, both of Winona Lake; one brother, Everett R. Burton of Yorktown, Va.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, James G. Bergdoll and Russell R. Spangler; her father; and her mother, Hestella F. Ullom Meranda Taylor.
A graveside service and burial will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Woodlawn Cemetery in Maxville.
Friends may call at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home in Goshen today from 10 a.m. to noon.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Humane Society of Elkhart County.
