Joy Ramona Jordan Benkert, 64, of Madison, died Sunday, March 2, 2014.
She was born Nov. 9, 1949, in Grand Haven, Mich., to Albert and Barbara Jordan. She was a graduate of Grand Haven High School and Central Michigan University. She spent winters in Hattiesburg, Miss. She enjoyed nature, travel, treasure hunting and her grandchildren.
She is survived by three children, Ramona Lisa Benkert Wicht, Monica Benkert González-Carriedo and Russell Benkert; one brother, Albert Jordan; five sisters, Julie Helmers, Patt DeHaan, Barb Ritter, Betsy Fullagar and Merrily Groeneveld; and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Randy Jordan.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at The First Presbyterian Church in Hattiesburg, Miss. Burial will be private in Highland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the service.
Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home in Hattiesburg, Miss., is in charge of arrangements.

James Lee Kinney, 69, of Sparta, Ky., died Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at his residence.
He was born to Lawrence and Nora Elene Hokey Kinney. He was a retired machinist for the Hebron Machine Company. He was a member of the Lighthouse Church in Owenton, Ky. He enjoyed flea markets.
He is survived by his caretaker, Donnie Cannon of Sparta, Ky.; and two daughters, Joyce and Tinia, both of Madison.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Edith Hayden; and two brothers, David Kinney and George Kinney.
The funeral will be at 6 p.m. Sunday at Lighthouse Church, 5405 US 127, Owenton, Ky. A graveside service and burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday in North Laurel Cemetery in Rushville.
Friends may call at the church Sunday from 2 to 5:45 p.m.

Dorothy Francis McCord LaVelle, 90, of Patriot, died Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at Dearborn County Hospital in Lawrenceburg.
She was born April 30,1923, in Batavia, Ohio, to Dan C. and Carolina Wheatley McCord. She was raised in Batavia, Ohio and Dayton, Ohio. She was a 1940 high school graduate and attended business college in Dayton, Ohio. She was employed as a secretary for the Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, for several years. She co-owned and co-operated, with her husband, the Gulf Service Station in Rising Sun for several years. She enjoyed helping her husband on the family farm in Patriot. She had resided in Patriot since 1949. She enjoyed gardening, flower gardening, bird watching and quilting.
She is survived by two daughters, Anita LaVelle of Vevay and Patricia Walton of Florida; one son, Kenny LaVelle of Patriot; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Howard "Sonny" LaVelle, whom she married July 19, 1947, and who died May 29, 2012; her parents; three sisters, Mary Woods, Florence Cornell and Ruth Martin; and four brothers, Julian D. McCord, Lloyd McCord, Elmer McCord and Chester McCord.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home in Vevay. Burial will be in Vevay Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 10 a.m. until the service.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Wounded Warriors Project. Contributions can be made through the funeral home.

Millicent Arleen Rose-Cremering, 36, of Bedford, Ky., died Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at her residence.
She was born May 3, 1977, in Madison, to James Terry and Patsy Boone Rose. She had been employed at Gallatin Steel in the Human Resources Department. She was a member of Bedford Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and pets. She also enjoyed listening to music, especially George Strait.
She is survived by one daughter, Destinee' Nicole Surratt of Milton, Ky.; her parents of Bedford, Ky.; one brother, Nicholas Rose of Bedford, Ky.; her companion, John M. Bell of Bedford, Ky.; and many other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Edgar Boone; and her paternal grandfather, James Rose.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford, Ky. Burial will be in the Cook Family Cemetery at a later date.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 5 p.m. until the service.

Mildred L. Stucker, 87, of Madison, died Thursday, March 6, 2014, at King's Daughters' Hospital.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lytle Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
