    Three local theater groups will host summer workshop for children. The Little Grand Theatre Company, Vevay’s Historic Hoosier Theater and Madison Community Players will provide participants with experience auditioning and performing during the programs in June and July.

    The Southwestern High School Library recently celebrated another year of reading with its annual “Rosie” reading party and luncheon. This year, 97 students, and 17 teachers and staff members participated in the program with 68 meeting all the requirements to attend the year end celebration.

    Hanover College celebrated its 182nd commencement Saturday in an afternoon ceremony at The Point on the Hanover  campus. The 245 graduates of the class of 2015 are the most diverse in school history.

    Robert was left at the shelter with his five siblings. They’ve all been adopted, so the best was saved for last! The Madison-Jefferson County Animal Shelter currently has more than 15 dogs and puppies, and 32 cats and kittens available.
