The Smyrna Neighbors Homemakers Club met Nov. 20 at Resurrection Lutheran Church with Roselle Schnabel as hostess, decorating for Thanksgiving, serving lunch and giving out gift bags. Thirteen members were present. Members said the Extension Homemakers Club Creed and told what they were thankful for. The club signed cards for Ruby Rowlett and for members of the military serving overseas. Donations were collected to purchase gifts for Eleanor Richey and Martha Boggs. Money was also collected for the Salvation Army. Janet McMahan and Kay Dunham displayed the quilt that will be raffled in April. Margie Renschler held a class on making rag rugs. The club's next meeting will be Dec. 18 at 11:30 a.m. at Harry's Stone Grill. For more information call (812) 273-5272.
