Festival of Lights: Thousands of holiday lights reflect into the water along the Ohio River at Paul Ogle Riverfront Park in Vevay from Nov. 30 to Dec. 31.
Festival of Trees: General Butler State Resort Park will host the annual Festival of Trees from Dec. 7 through Jan. 1, with the exception of Dec. 23-Dec. 26 when the lodge will close for the holiday.
Walking: The Brown Gym will be open for walking from 5:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information call (812) 265-8308.
T.O.P.S.: Taking Off Pounds Sensibly will meet at 5 p.m. Thursdays at Faith Alliance Church. Weigh in starts at 4:30 p.m. For more information call (812) 265-5529 or (812) 265-4641.
GED Help: Will be offered at 4 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Carroll County Public Library.
Homework Help: Will be offered at 5 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Carroll County Public Library.
ESL Class: Will be taught at 6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Carroll County Public Library.
Walk Away the Pounds: Daily at 9 a.m. at the Carroll County Public Library.
Zumba: Will meet at 5:15 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at the Carroll County Public Library.
Al-Anon Family Group: Will meet at 7 p.m. Fridays at Madison Presbyterian Church, 202 Broadway. For more information call (812) 493-3848.
Orchard Support Group: A support group for pregnant mothers, new mothers and mothers of older children who are battling addiction will meet from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursdays at the King's Daughters' Hospital.
Support Group: Will meet every Thursday at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 1429 Clifty Drive, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The spiritually-based group supports those struggling with depression, fear, anxiety, suicidal thoughts and grief. For more information call (502) 468-6316.
Senior Citizens: The Madison Senior Center, 208 W. Main St., hosts activities during the week including euchre at noon on Monday and Thursday, and bingo at 10 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. The center also has a pool table, Wii, and dominoes. Lunch is available each day, but those interested must sign-up the day prior. For more information call (812) 265-4758.
Jefferson County House of Hope: Will provide free food and supplies to residents of Jefferson County who are in need. A household may visit once every 30 days. Guests will be served from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and from 9 a.m. to noon Fridays. The clearinghouse is located at 100 E. Second St. The entrance is located off First St., at the rear of the building.
T-Shirt Quilt Class: Use souvenir t-shirts to make a t-shirt quilt. Turn old favorites into a keepsake from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library. Some sewing experience would be helpful. The class is for adults and older children with an adult helper. For more information or to sign up call (502) 732-7020. Lunch will be provided.
Senior Dance: The Madison Parks Department dance will not be held at the Brown Gym.
Clifty Falls Christmas Bird Count: Participants will meet at 8 a.m. at the Clifty Falls State Park's Clifty Inn. For more information call (812) 273-0609.
Jewel House Open House: Will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Jewel House, 607 Virginia Ave. Refreshments will be served. For more information call (812) 273-0432.
Court Street Cinemas: Will show "Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters" at 2 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library. The film is rated PG.
Nationwide Consciousness for Peace: Join in the power of unified thought for 15 minutes starting at 2 p.m. EST.
Fish Fry: The Dupont-Lancaster Volunteer Fire Department will host a fish fry on the last Saturday of the month at the Dupont fire house from 4 to 8 p.m.
Moving for Better Health: The free senior exercise class will meet from 9 to 10 a.m. Mondays at the Brown Gym. For more information call (812) 273-1072.
Court Street Cinemas: Will show "Arthur Christmas" at 2 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library. The film is rated PG.

New Years Eve Party: The Madison Township Fire Dept., 3413 N. Michigan Road, will host a New Years Eve party starting at Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. with live music from Tommy Day and Cool Country. Admission is $15 individuals or $20 for couples. Children under age 12 are admitted free. The event will be alcohol free. All profits will go to the department. For more information call (812) 265-2256.
The Doctor's Band: Spend New Year's Eve with the Doctor's Band at Red Bicycle Hall, 125 E. Main St., from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. for those 21 and over. Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door, they can be purchased at Village Lights Bookstore or by visiting the Red Bicycle Hall on Facebook.
