Red Hatters: The Red Hatters of Madison will meet at 11:30 a.m. at Broadway Historic Hotel Restaurant and Tavern. All Red Hatters and guests are welcome.

Vevay First Friday: Will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. "The Chocolate Walk" will highlight pioneer Swiss chocolatiers and the history of chocolate. Several businesses will participate with special menu items, free giveaways and other chocolate-themed items. The Valentine's Day Card contest opening will also be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Switzerland County Tourism Dept., 128 W. Main St., Vevay. The event is free and open to the public.

The Reen Family Singers: Will perform at 7 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church. The free concert is sponsored by the Madison Performing Arts Foundation.

Willabella Witch's Last Spell Auditions: The Little Grand Theatre Company will hold auditions for three male and six female roles for their March 15-17 production of "Willabella Witch's Last Spell." International Film Series - Offside: The Hanover College International Film Series will show "Offside" at 7 p.m. in Classic Hall, room 102. The 2006 Iranian film is directed by Jafar Panahi. The film follows Tehran, a soccer fan who isn't allowed inside the stadium because she is female. The series is free and open to the public.

Mardi Gras Winter Gala: Will be held in Struck Gymnasium at the Horner Center on the Hanover College Campus featuring the music of Mojo and the Bayou Gypsies. The event starts with a cash-bar at 6 p.m. followed by a buffet dinner at 7 p.m. and live music and dancing at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are $30 and must be reserved by Jan. 29.
