Dead Serious About Life: For more than 24 years 'Mispachah' a non-profit group based out of Ohio, has been performing this musical in high schools, churches and youth conventions. It deals with issues like suicide, drug addiction, sex, bullying, cutting, alcohol abuse, self-esteem and teen pregnancy. The play will be held Jan. 25 at 6 p.m. and Jan. 26 at 3 p.m. in the cafeteria of Switzerland County High School. Tickets are $8 in advance and can be ordered at (800) 459-7268. Steer Tagging - POSTPONED: The Jefferson County 4-H steer tagging has been postponed to Feb. 1 from 7 to 10 a.m. at the Jefferson County 4-H Fairgrounds. The Necessities of Life: The Community Arts Series will screen "The Necessities of Life" at 7 p.m. in Fitzgibbon Recital Hall of the Lynn Center for Fine Arts at Hanover College. The 2008 drama stars Natar Ungalaaq and Eveline Gelinas. The 102-minute film was the winner of 14 international film awards. Admission is $5 or free for those with a Hanover ID.
