Family Film Series: The Ohio Theatre will host free showings during their family film series. Movies show at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Mondays and at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays. Switzerland County 4-H Fair: Will be held July 12-19 at the Switzerland County 4-H Fairgrounds. The 4-H Exhibit Hall will open Monday through Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. and open on July 19 from 2 to 6:30 p.m. The commercial building will be open Monday through Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. The building will open from noon to 9 p.m. on July 19. Summer Theatre Workshop: The Madison Community Players will host its annual summer theatre workshop July 21-Aug. 1 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Brown Gym. Those in third grade and older are welcome. Jefferson County House of Hope: Will provide free food and supplies to residents of Jefferson County who are in need. A household may visit once every 30 days. Guests will be served from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and from 9 a.m. to noon Fridays. The clearinghouse is located at 100 E. Second St. The entrance is located off First St., at the rear of the building.

Vulture Adventure: Meet at the Clifty Falls State Park Nature Center at 2 p.m. for a 1-hour moderate hike to learn about two scavengers from the sky and how important they are to our ecosystem.

Freethinkers Book Club: Will meet at 6 p.m. on the third Friday of the month at Village Lights Bookstore.

Senior Dance: Will be held Friday by the Madison Parks Department at the Brown Gym featuring the music of Gary Hewitt and the Honky Tonk Band. The doors open at 5 p.m. Music begins at 6 p.m. Admission is $3.50 per person.
