Pep Walks: King's Daughters' Health will host weekly walks on Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., June 5 through Aug. 28, except for July 3. The walks start and finish at the KDH/Trilogy Health parking garage on Broadway. All ages and fitness levels are welcome. Walkers are encouraged to walk by themselves or with a group at their own pace. Downtown walking maps will be provided for various 1 to 4-mile courses. Cold water will be provided. Carroll County Fair: Will be held June 6-14. Carnival rides will be open June 9-14. Admission is $10 at the gate. Parking is $2.
Jefferson County House of Hope: Will provide free food and supplies to residents of Jefferson County who are in need. A household may visit once every 30 days. Guests will be served from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and from 9 a.m. to noon Fridays. The clearinghouse is located at 100 E. Second St. The entrance is located off First St., at the rear of the building.
Celebrate Recovery: A 12-step, Christ-centered, recovery program for hurts, habits and hang-ups, from addictions to depression, will meet at 4 p.m. Sundays at Faith Covenant Church, 217 E. Open Swim: The pool at the Madison Consolidated Junior High School will be open for a community swim on Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m., and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Admission is $1 per person, and elementary-aged children and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Farmer's Market: Will run from April 1 through Oct. 31 on Broadway between Main and Third streets. The market is open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Invasive Plants - Threats and Species of Concern for Southeastern Indiana: Alex Wardwell, project director of Southern Indiana Cooperative Invasives Management will speak at 6:30 p.m. at the Jefferson County Public Library Madison branch as part of the Big Oaks Conservation Society's monthly meeting. Wardwell will give an overview of the threats presented by non-native invasive plant species.
Freethinkers Coffee and Conversation: Will meet at 7 p.m. on the first and third Mondays of the month at Mumbles.

Heritage Trail Challenge Walk/Run: Will begin at 8:15 a.m. Sign-in within 30 mins. of the start time at Vernon St. and Vaughn Drive. All abilities, ages, parents with strollers, and well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome. In case of inclement weather the event will be canceled.
Game Day: Will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library.
