Pancake Breakfast: The Hanover Masonic Lodge will host a pancake breakfast from 6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The event is open to the public. Donations will be accepted.

Discover Your HouseStory: The Preservation on a Shoestring Series returns with a program on ways to research the history of a historic building. The workshop will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Jefferson County Public Library Madison branch. The event features Link Ludington, Ron Grimes, Janice Barnes and Camille Fife. It is free and open to the public. Donations are welcome. Refreshments will be served.

End of the Month Meal: Will be held at 11 a.m. at the Salvation Army. Served by the American Baptist Men, the menu will include: corned beef, cabbage, baked potato, bread and butter, cookie and drinks. For meal delivery call (812) 265-2157 after 9 a.m. Saturday.

Science Center Open House: The Hanover College Science Center, natural history museum will host an open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will include interactive demonstrations featuring faculty and students. A demonstration of the human simulator will be held at 10:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. "Don't Hate Us Because We're Slimy," an introduction to amphibians from southeast Indiana, will take place at 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The open house will also include an introduction to botany at noon and an exploration of chemical synthesis at 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. A session on body composition determination, using the BodPod, will be held at 2 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Guided tours are available for area schools, groups and organizations. Organ Crawl: Madison's second annual organ crawl will be held in downtown Madison. Learn how the pipe organ works from 1 to 1:30 p.m. at Madison Presbyterian Church. Listen to the sounds of the pipe organ from 1:45 to 2:15 p.m. at the First Christian Church. Play the pipe organ from 2:30 to 3 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church. The event features organists, Starla Raley, Linda Roaks and Jonathan Stanley. The event is free to the public, but donations are appreciated. For more information call (812) 265-9397.

Suicide Prevention Mini-Conference: Will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. at North Madison Christian Church. Refreshments will be served and there will be raffle giveaways. The program is through the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. To RSVP email jenniferlsteinbach@gmail.com.

Barbeque Chicken Dinner: The annual barbeque chicken and beverages fundraiser will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Lide White Memorial Boys & Girls Club/Family & Community Center. The speaker will be Angela Abbott, human and health service program leader for the Purdue Extension Service. Four new directors will be elected to the Jefferson County Extension Board.
