Milton Trail of Screams: Milton Fire and Rescue will present their annual cornmaze from 5 p.m. to midnight, Fridays and Saturdays during October. The trail will be "unhaunted" from 5 p.m. until dark for younger children. Admission is $5.
Haunted Hayride: Deputy Volunteer Fire Dept. will host a haunted hayride Oct. 18 and 19 and Oct. 25 and 26. Food will be available starting at 4 p.m. The first ride will start at dark. Tickets are $4 for adults, and $3 for children age 12 and younger. For more information call (812) 866-9465.
Serious Paranormal Investigations: Will be held Oct. 18 and Oct. 25 from 9 p.m. to midnight at the General Butler State Resort Park's Butler-Turpin State Historic Site in Carrollton, Ky. Fish Fry and Auction: Milton Elementary School will host the annual school fish fry fundraiser on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. Tickets will be on sale at the school office until 3 p.m. on Friday. Broadway's Next Hit Musical: An improvised musical comedy will be presented as part of the Community Arts Series at 7:30 p.m. in Hanover College's Parker Auditorium. Veterans Benefits Representative: A veterans benefits field representative from the Kentucky Department of Veteran Affairs will be at the Veterans Affairs Health Clinic in Carrollton, Ky. on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The representative will be available to assist veterans and widows/widowers for free in filing for federal and state benefits for veterans and dependents.
