Southeastern Indiana Voices for Children, 217 E. Main St., will begin a new volunteer training class series on March 15.

Volunteers advocate for abused and neglected children who have been made wards of the state through Department of Child Services intervention. These children need compassionate, caring adults who can be their voice through this process.

Training is a 30-hour, 5-week class with both classroom and online training. For more information about the program or to receive an application packet, call (812) 599-2630. The deadline for applications is Feb. 28.
