Indiana State University recently announced its dean's list for the fall semester of the 2013-2014 school year. Students from Jefferson County recognized for academic achievement include Sean Brink, Hollyann Copeland, Emily Fox, Samantha Knox, Kindsey Mahoney, Kyler Mahoney and Rebecca Sims, all of Madison, and Lacey Quick of Hanover.
To be eligible for the dean's list, students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology has announced its dean's list for the fall quarter of the 2013-2014 school year. Students must earn a grade point average of 3.3 or higher on a 4.0 scale to be honored. Two area students were named to the list:
Noah Hamner, senior chemistry major, is the son of Rusty and Susanne Hamner of Madison.
Lindsey Watterson, senior software engineering and biomedical engineering major, is the daughter of Dennis and Cheryl Watterson of Lexington.
