Tri Kappa 'Chick Flick' dinner, movie is tonight

The Madison Tri Kappa Beta Omega chapter is hosting a Chick Flick Night tonight with dinner, drinks and a chick flick available for ladies wanting to help raise money for the group's educational scholarships.
Tickets are $15 and can be bought in advance from Tri Kappa members or at the door.
The evening starts out at 5 p.m. at the Old Market on Main. Appetizers, a light meal and beverages will be served.
Madison Vineyards is providing wine for the evening, and a commemorative wine glass will be provided.
Heather Foy, one of the events organizers, said there will also be door prizes, a silent auction and a raffle.
"It's just a fun night out for women to get away with other girlfriends," Foy said.
The movie being shown for the night out is "Calendar Girls" a 2003 film staring Helen Mirren, Julie Walters, Penelope Wilton and John Alderton.
The film is about a fundraising effort by the Women's Institute. The women raise money for a local hospital by posing nude for a calendar becomes a media sensation.
"It's just a fun make you laugh, make you cry girls night out kind of movie," Foy said.
The movie begins at 7:15 p.m. at the Ohio Theatre.
