- Madison's jayvee boys basketball team lost to North Harrison 58-52 Saturday at Salm Gym.
Quenton White led the Cubs with 15 points, Kevin Stewart scored 14 and Mitchell Seng added 11.
Madison, now 8-4, visits Seymour on Friday before hosting Shawe Memorial on Saturday.
- Switzerland County's jayvee boys basketball teams split a pair of games over the weekend.
On Friday, Switzerland County fell to New Washington at home 48-37. Hunter Hayes led the Pacers with 10 points while Caleb Furnish had nine and Justin Green scored seven. Zach Whitaker and Kollin Hayes added four points apiece with Brody Splain and Dakota Fuller scoring two and one respectively.
On Saturday, the Pacers rebounded with a 46-36 win over Milan at home.
Hunter Hayes and Furnish scored 14 and 12 points, respectively, for the Pacers. Kollin Hayes added seven, Justin Green had five and Dakota Fuller scored four
Allen Lewis led Milan with 10 points while Payton Healy and Sam Layden scored seven each.
- Southwestern will honor its first ever boy's basketball team between the boy's junior varsity and varsity games with South Ripley on Saturday night.
Players from the Rebels' golden anniversary team of the 1960-61 season along with the cheerleaders from that season will be admitted free and recognized. Free admission also will be granted to any member of that graduating class.
Jayvee game starts at 6 p.m.
