Franklin Co. beats Swiss 10-1

Switzerland County softball dropped a 10-1 decision to Franklin County on Saturday in Brookville.
Franklin County scored a run in the bottom of the first only to see the Pacers tie the game 1-1 in the top of the second inning.
The Wildcats controlled the rest of the game, responding in the bottom of the second with five runs and scoring four in the fifth to pull away for the 10-1 win.
Taylar Jordan led Switzerland County's offense, going 1-for-2 with a walk and a stolen base. Vicky Abbott was also walked once while Baylie Scudder provided the team's lone run.
Kelsi Konkle was tagged with the loss inside the circle. Konkle pitched six innings while walking two and striking out two.
Switzerland County (3-5) visits Southwestern today for an Ohio River Valley Conference game.
