Madison's girls track and field team placed sixth out of 12 teams at the Floyd Central Invitational on Friday.

The Lady Cubs scored 35 team points and placed in seven events.

Junior Emily Holland won the high jump at 5 feet, 2 inches for Madison's lone win. Macky Hecox was second in the discus at 106 feet, 9 inches and Emily Ward was second on the pole vault at 9 feet-even.

Ashlee Allen was fourth in the 400-meter dash in 1:05, Sage Sproles was fourth in the high jump at 4 feet, 10 inches, Hecox was fifth in the shot put at 32 feet, 11 inches, and Olivia Crozier, Gabby Nay, Catherine Fisher and Allen placed sixth in the 3200-meter relay in 11:15.49.

Madison hosts Seymour on Tuesday.
