Switzerland County girls basketball opened the Ohio River Valley Conference season with a 72-32 blowout win over Milan in Vevay.

The Pacers put three scorers in double figures. Eve Galbreath led all Pacers with 23 points while Bre Ricketts had 17 and Brooke Todd scored 15.

Other Switzerland County scorers included Hailee Lay with seven, Kelsi Konkle four, Erika Coy four and Mackenzie Mathews two.

Galbreath added a team-high eight rebounds with Ricketts and Mathews grabbing five and six boards, respectively. Todd collected six steals.

Switzerland (2-3) hosts Owen County (Ky.) Tuesday. The Rebels (0-1) lost their opener 58-30 to Shelby County on Tuesday.
