FISHERS - Madison golfer Justin Tereshko finished off this week's IGA Indiana Amateur Championship with a final round 75 to place sixth in the 72-hole event.

Tereshko, 24, played the tourney at Purgatory Golf Club in Fishers with a 71-71-75-75-292 (+4) that was two strokes out of fourth place, three strokes back of third and 12 strokes off the winning pace set by State Amateur champion Nicholas Grubnich of Crown Point.

A former Madison Cub and collegiate golfer at Transylvania (Ky.) University, Tereshko, now 24, earned $250 and 18 IGA John K. David Player of the Year points for his finish.

The event was Tereshko's second IGA event of the season. He earlier shot a 74 and tied for 20th in a one-day IGA Stroke Player Series event at Otter Creek Golf Club in Columbus on May 18.
