Gallatin County outscored Trimble County 15-10 in the overtime to pull away for a 76-71 boys basketball win in Warsaw on Tuesday.

The two teams battled the entire way and Gallatin appeared headed to a win in regulation before Trimble's Dusty Wyssbrod hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to send the game into overtime.

Gallatin took control of the extra session early and went 12-for-16 at the free-throw line in the four-minute period to ice the win.

Evan Long scored a career-high 23 points to lead Trimble while Rob Brooks had 16 points, Wyssbrod added 14 and Michael Dunaway had 10.

Kristian Morgan led Gallatin County with 31 points, Austin Chapman and Tylor Herndon scored 11 each and Roby Carlton had 10.

Trimble, now 13-9 overall and 1-4 in the North Central Kentucky Conference, visits Louisville Brown on Saturday.
