The Carrollton Main Street program hosts "A Christmas Carroll" the first Saturday in December. There are carriage rides, visits with Santa and the downtown businesses welcome shoppers. The Carroll County Courthouse was host to the Market Place, a space for local vendors to set up and have their goods for sale. McNeal's joins forces with the Main Street program to sponsor the Visions of Sugar Plums baking contest. Santa makes his final appearance as the grand marshal of the Christmas Parade.
