General Notice:

The City of Madison Redevelopment Commission is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Michigan Road Pump Station

JTL Project No. 22011-3

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received by the City of Madison, Indiana, Redevelopment Commission located at 101 W. Main Street, Madison, Indiana 47250 until October 3rd, 2022, at 2:00 pm EST, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

The project generally consists of:

Construction of the existing Michigan Road Pump Station, complete with wet well, valve vault, installation of two (2) pumps and associated controls, DI station piping and fittings, the control panel, approximately 2,600’ of PVC force main, 50’ of PVC gravity sewer, and all other items shown on the plans and mentioned in the specifications for a complete project, ready for continuous operations.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents:

The information for Bidders, Forms of Bid, Forms of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents for the Project can be purchased at the following designated website:

Copies may be obtained at Lynn Imaging upon payment of $60.00 for each set. Purchase costs for the contract documents are non-refundable. This amount is for a digital download of the contract documents in PDF format. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining hard copies of the contract documents, at their own expense, if desired.

As an alternative, plans and specifications may be examined beginning at 10:00 am EST on September 12th, 2022, at the following:

• City Hall, 101 W. Main Street, Madison, Indiana 47250.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 21st, 2022, at the City Hall, Council Chambers, at 101 W. Main Street, Madison, Indiana 47250 at 1:30 P.M., local time.

Each Bidder shall submit with their bid an acceptable security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Invitation to Bid and Instructions to Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within ninety 90 days after the actual date of bid opening.
