Stacie Peters and Jay Germain, both of Louisville, were married Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020, at the Medora Covered Bridge in Medora, Indiana.
Peters, the daughter of Wanda Wooddell of North Vernon, Indiana, is a graduate of Ivy Tech, a member of Phi Theta Kappa sorority and a customer service and tourism associate in Louisville. She also has several family members from Jefferson County. Germain, the son of Holly Walker of Brandenburg, Kentucky, is a graduate of Jennings County High School and is a customer service representative in Louisville.
Bridesmaids were Kayla Coleman of Vernon Indiana, Tamara Roe of North Vernon, Rebecca Collins of Vermont and Illyanna Coy of Illinois. Groomsmen were Zac Rice and Floyd Freels, both of Louisville and Kyle Coleman of Vernon. The flower girl was Amarah Smith and the ring bearer was Shaedon Smith, both of Vernon.
After a reception at the Marion Township Community Center in Commiskey, Indiana, and a wedding trip to North Carolina, the couple now lives in Louisville.
