By SPECIAL TO THE COURIER
The Madison-Jefferson County Animal Shelter currently has a number of dogs, cats and kittens available for adoption.
Margo is an Alaskan husky mix with loads of energy. She’s only 2 years old and has some learning to do but listening is no issue! She’s a pretty big girl at 58 pounds so she need room to roam but she plays well with other critters and is hoping to find a furever home for the holidays.
Azriel, is one of three two month old cats at the shelter that are almost identical. She will be ready for her furever home as soon as she’s neutered. Cat toys and catnip are my favorites besides my brothers and she’s love to have a home for the holidays!
If you’re interested in Margo or Azriel, please contact the Jefferson County Animal Shelter via email, phone, or even Facebook! The shelter has plenty of cats and dogs available for adoption.
Call the shelter at 812-273-1788 or email at email@example.com to make an appointment. Animals that are neutered and vaccinated for rabies are listed on sisaveapet.com if you would like to see what other animals are available for adoption.
Those with missing pets can call or email a complete description of the pet, when and where it was last seen, the owner’s name and contact information, and a picture of the pet. Pets are held for three days before they are made available for adoption. Animals should not be abandoned outside of the shelter or dropped off at the shelter after hours.
