A mobile food distribution from at the National Guard Army, 1533 Clifty Drive. No ID is required to receive food and event is open to anyone. Gleaners holds this mobile food distribution at the same location and time each month.

Due to ongoing public restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the approach of winter months, the Jefferson County House of Hope Food Pantry hours of operation are Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Please arrive at the pantry 15 minutes prior to closing to be served.

Meet at Clifty Shelter for a one-hour moderately rugged hike through one of the most scenic sections of Clifty Canyon. There’s a chance to see five waterfalls along the way! Registration is required as space is limited, please call 812-273-0609 to register.

Chipmunk Puppet

Craft Bag Pick-Up

Make a cute chipmunk puppet! We’ll do all of the prep work, you just take it home and assemble it. $1 fee for each craft bag. You must pre-register so we know how many to assemble. Call 812-273-0609. Pick-up will take place at the Nature Center.
