The Madison Board of School Trustees approved the hiring of the district’s newest School Resource Officer at their April meeting. On his first official day on May 1, Officer Cody Teltow was sworn in as a Jefferson County Deputy by Sheriff Ben Flint, making his duties official in Jefferson County.

Teltow brings a variety of experiences to the position. He is a graduate of Jennings County High School, the Indiana University Law Enforcement Academy, and Indiana University Purdue University Columbus where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice.
