Several Jefferson County officials who were elected to take or resume office in 2021, took their oaths on Tuesday at the county courthouse. Pictured are, front row from left, recorder Molly O’Connor, treasurer Melinda Klopp and council member Heather Foy. Back row, from left, are District 29 State Rep. Jim Lucas, Circuit Judge DJ Mote, coroner Rodney Nay, surveyor Mike Pittman, commissioner Robert Little, District 66 State Rep. Zach Payne, council member Pam Crozier, council member Gary Copeland and Superior Court Judge Blaine Good. Lucas and Payne were both on hand to witness and Mote officiated the ceremonies.
