Rainbow Rededication
A rededication for Hanover’s Rainbow Park was held Saturday unveiling the new playground equipment, new basketball goal, soccer net and a walking path around the park as well as a newly paved parking area. The project received financial support from the Community Foundation of Madison and Jefferson County and Nucor Tubular Products. Participating in the ribbon cutting were (from left) town council members Benjamin Sommer, Kenny Garrett and Treva Shelton, Bill Barnes, president and CEO of the Community Foundation, Hanover Parks director Scott Davidson, Hanover parks groundskeeper Daniel Thornton, Hanover Parks event coordinator Megan Varble with daughters Charlotte and Livy Varble and Hanover town council president Debbie Kroger.
