Jim Wilson, lead pastor at New Heart Church of God (from left) blesses the new Safe Haven Baby Box in downtown Madison as Chanel Cunningham, director of programs and administration at Safe Haven and Linda Znachko, founder of He Knows Your Name, join in Friday afternoon’s ceremony. The box, located in the King’s Daughter’ Health EMS Building at 600 West Street, will provide a safe and secure place for mothers to give up their babies with no questions asked. Funds for the box were raised locally through private and corporate donations and the box will be administered by KDH. For additional coverage, visit our media partner, WKMNEWS.COM.
