The North Vernon City Council did a second reading of the 2022 Budget Ordinance #1002 and the 2022 Salary Ordinance #1003 on Monday, Oct. 25, which quickly followed with the unanimous vote to approve and adopt both, just six days before the state deadline for municipalities.

The city’s budget is pending approval by the state.
