After two weeks off because of rainy weather, Tuesday men’s league golfers returned to the well-watered and downright, at least in parts, lush St. Annes Golf Course.

No team was more lush than the one captained by Ben “Who Says Latin is a Dead Language?” Hauersperger, which scored an evening’s best 27 points.

On the other end of the spectrum, Wallace “Like a True Nature’s Child” Philpot’s trio took the booby prize with a week’s low 15 points.

Larry “Corner Collection Point” Wasson and Steve “Heritage Hill Conqueror” Schmidt cashed in on skins with birdies on Nos. 13 and 14, respectively. Pat “I Still Miss Tug” York drew the blind.

Flick “Help Me Mundle” Wilson and the aforementioned Wasson claimed closest-to-the-pin money on Nos. 11 and 13, respectively.

Here are the standings after 10 weeks of play (points, which are based on Stableford best-ball scoring, are accumulated each week) with updated handicaps in parentheses. Teams are listed by captains’ names.
