With the high demand and nation-wide shortage of COVID-19 rapid tests, Indiana has changed who is eligible for the rapid tests. Starting earlier this week, the state health department will only offer rapid test to those 18 and under and symptomatic persons ages 50 and over. According to the IDOH, the change is designed to ensure students stay in school and that Hoosiers who are most likely to need a monoclonal antibody are identified within the window in which they can be administered.
