It is that time again for alumni of Jennings County High School to make their pilgrimage back to North Vernon for the 2022 Winter Homecoming.

This year’s homecoming game will take place Saturday night, as the Panthers host the Stars of Bedford North Lawrence. The junior varsity game will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the varsity matchup taking place at approximately 7:30 p.m. The honoring of the 2020 and 2021 JCHS Alumni Hall of Fame classes will also take place on Saturday night during halftime of the varsity matchup.

For current students, all eyes will be locked to the court during halftime for one more reason, as the new homecoming king and queen will be announced. This years candidates are:

Freshman class: Sherlyn Sotelo, daughter of Laura Andrade and Ivan Sotelo, and Addai Lynch, son of Toni and Doug Lynch.

Sophomore class: Taylor Easton, daughter of Krystal and Nathan Biehle and Joe and Amanda Easton, and Austin Byford.

Junior class: Megan Vogel, daughter of Kevin and Lisa Vogel, and Bryce McIntosh, son of McKinnon and Vanessa McIntosh.

Senior class: Kaylie Floyd, daughter of Nathan and Jessica Floyd, and Zach Reason.
