Jennings County edged Southwestern 3-2 in a girls’ high school tennis match on Saturday, April 29.

The Panthers and Spartans battled back and forth throughout the girls’ high school tennis match.

Tatum Brown and Kaydence Lowman each claimed singles wins for the Panthers.

The Jennings County doubles team of Gabi Morin/Trina Collins also prevailed.

Number 1 Singles: Tatum Brown (JC) defeated Ella Rice (S) 6-0, 6-0.

Number 2 Singles: Kaydence Lowman (JC) defeated Makenzie Belton (S) 6-2, 6-0.

Number 3 Singles: Tori Burkhart (S) defeated Jocelyn Valdovinos (JC) 7-6 (5), 3-6, 10-6.

Number 1 Doubles: McKinley Correll/Lauryn Blondell (S) defeated Makenzey Carr/Mia Silvey (JC) 6-0, 6-4.

Number 2 Doubles: Gabi Morin/Trina Collins (JC) defeated Lilly Despain/Kate Koffman (S) 6-1, 6-4.
